Dear Experts,
We are doing system preparation in solution manager 7.1, Got stuck up with setup SLD.
1)How to setup SLD in solution manager 7.1?
2)What are the requirements needed for setting up SLD?
3)Can i delete old SMSY settings and create a new one?
Hi,
1)How to setup SLD in solution manager 7.1?
Are you talking about that you want solution manager to be the central SLD for all other system.
2)What are the requirements needed for setting up SLD?
LMDB requires some minimun version of the CR Content and the model installed in
at least one connected SLD:
• CR Content: latest available
• Model Version: minimum 1.6.16, better latest available
To check, open SLD
Go to Administration Details Data
Check Note 669669 for further
information on CR Content & Model
Please start the sld and patch the CIM and CR content so that you have updated contents in the sld.
You need to check that the SLD is up and running in solution manager and check that all the abap system are pointed to Solution manager to this solution manager in rz70.
For java system you need to do config in visual admin or NWA depending on the release.
3)Can i delete old SMSY settings and create a new one?
Why do you want to delete the entry in SMSY and maintain it if you have LMDB maintaining that functionality in SOLMAN 7.1
Thanks

Hi,
Please try this for solution manager based sld.
http://hostname of solution manager:5XX00/sld
XX is the instance no of the solutionmanager java instance.

can you please past the screenshot of the error.

Hi,
I think this is an old issues. did you try to restart the solution manager and see if that fixes it.
Ok try this url.
http://solutionmanager hostname:50000/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/tc~sld~wd~main/Main?sap-wd-lightspeed=&myUrlParam2=Something
If this url works that your Web Dynpro Runtime 7.10 is less than SP4.
Then you need to check this note.
Note 1159489 - Administration Tools not working properly in ByD system
What do you see in the default trace when you perform the action.
Thanks
