High availability for contract generation windows server

Anybody out there who has set up HA for contract generation server. I am thinking a simple load balancer with round robin between two windows servers should suffice. This will provide HA and performance. There is nothing permanent stored on the contract generation server anyway except for the logs in fci directory.

Also, is there anyway you can relocated the logs to a a different directory so that we don't fill up the C drive.

Hello,

It's been a long time since I've worked on Contract Generation, but at one point in time you could control the location of the log and temp files.  Check the appSettings node in your Web.config file.

Thanks Robert. I was able to relocate the logs away from C drive.

For High Availability, I used load balancer to round robin traffic between two contract generation servers and I have had no issues.
