Set initial WM balance by movement type 999

Hi :

I would like to set initial WM balance by doing the following step:

1.LT01 movement type = 999

2.source storage type = 998  storage bin =AUFNAHME

3.desitnation storage type : I put correctly

4.The material wm qty transfer from 998 to destination storage type correctly

5.confirm TO

6.==> but the storage type 998 storage bin = AUFNAHME still be negative quantity

what is the problem and how to solve please

a movement type 999 in WM is used to move material from A to B

if A has nothing and you move 50 from A to B, then as a result you have - 50 in A and + 50 in B

WM is just a subset of IM, hence you should start your process in IM, and post a 561 movement to create stock in a storage location which is warehouse managed.
