SOLMAN_SETUP+Managed system configuration issue

Hi All,

We are having  SAP SOLUTION MANAGER 7.1 I have completed the System preparation and basic configuration settings.

Now the issue while I am trying to  setup Managed system configuration I am facing the issue ,after selecting the

Development system ..............>Configure system option its opening new window

In that first two steps completed successfully  completed  Select Product & check prerequisites steps  .

and after clicking Next option connected managed system I am getting error message "

500 SAP Internal Server Error

ERROR: SQL error 10901 when accessing table LMDB_P_INSTANCE. (termination: RABAX_STATE)"

I am getting ST22 dump as well

     Error Text of the Database: "[ASE Error SQL10901]This query requires 172

      auxiliary scan descriptors, but currently there are only 84 auxiliary scan

      descriptors available. Either raise the value of the 'number of aux scan

      descriptors' configuration parameter or try your query later.#"

What can you do?

     Note which actions and input led to the error.

     For further help in handling the problem, contact your SAP administrator

     .

     You can use the ABAP dump analysis transaction ST22 to view and manage

     termination messages, in particular for long term reference.

hi,

I guess the SLD/LMDB syncronization has not completely executed. Run the statistics upgrade on the table  LMDB_P_INSTANCE or all tables. This will help.

Check Note 1646155 - SYB: Configuring auxiliary scan descriptors.

If Table statistics update do not help.

Not sure if you use Sybase or not. pls confirm.

I am using Sybase database,already i have gone through the above note but no luck number of aux scan descriptor  current value is 256 .

Please suggest how can we update table statics for sybase .

Hi,

Have you completely implemented the central (0001633725) note ? Please check those dependent notes, which are in inconsistent state.

Please check and reapply those notes.

Hi,

Well.. by considering that you don't have any note resists in INCONSISTENT state, you can apply 1883734 note and run "RLMDB_PERS_CONSISTENCY_CHECK" report to check the state of LMDB_P_INSTANCE table.

As you mentioned that you have checked 1646155 note also, so could you please confirm whether you have changed "number of aux scan descriptors" to it's maximum value ?

After setting it to maximum value, update the table in Sybase with following command :

update all statistics table_name

I have set the parameter as per the note below

Parameter

Parameter Name: number of aux scan descriptors 

Parameter Type: dynamic 

Configured Value: 256 

Default Value: 256 

Run Value: 256 

Value Range: 0:2147483647

But no luck same issue ,as per your suggestion I am trying run the

update all statistics table_name

its showing below

Hi,

Sorry to say you that I don't have so much expertise in Sybase. may be you need to address the table name with DB Schema name . I would suggest you to increase the value of number of "aux scan descriptors" to 4325 and try.

NO luck I have changed the parameter "aux scan descriptors" to 4325 but still no luck .

Continuously  running after some time screen get error and work process keep on running stage

Well , it seems now you can get the managed system screen for the development system which was not coming earlier.

Now just check the same by decreasing the value of "number of aux scan descriptors" to 1500.... 1000 .... 800 and check whether after changing  you can open the child window (managed system for dev system)or not . Also increase the http / https process  time out to 3600 through SMICM T-Code and let it run .
