Web Dynpro & IE10: JavaScript Error

Hi experts,

when i start a Web Dynpro application in Internet Explorer 10 (Windows 7), i get nothing more displayed than a white site. An intent look in browser console reveals the following JavaScript error:

Unable to set property 'async' of undefined or null reference (lightspeed.js)

Unfortunately i can't find a appropriate SAP-Note to solve this problem.

Any suggestions?

Issue was solved by upgrading to Release 7.4.

Hi Chandra,

sry, but i've read this document before. Doesn't help further. Maybe I should give some information about my SAP-System:

SAP_BASIS, Release 7.01, Level 0008, SAPKB70108

Interestingly, when i switch to the compatibility view of the browser (browser mode), the application is running fine. Why is this happening? Shouldn't Internet Explorer 10 switch automatically in compatibility view and quirks mode when calling a Web-Dynpro application?
