transporting objects to QA, PROD

WHat are the objects which we can trasnport from DEV to QA, PROD.

Can anyone specify the objects which can be transported from IR, ID and SLD.

And also, which objects I need to recreate in the QA, PROD i.e which objects are not transpotable? I'm talking about manually exporting and importing into other environments.

Is it also same in CMS?

Hi Sudha,

You can transport whole IR & ID configuration to QA & to PROD from DEV but u need to change the Adapter details according to SAP R/3 & third part QA & PROD details.

Hi,.

1. Are you suisng a single SLD or multiple SLD?

If single SLD, then just creatre the Technical System and Business System for your Quality and then create Transport Group for the Dev and Quality a nd create the transport targets at the business system level and import the IR and ID objects from Dev.

If separate SLD's, then you will need to export the SLD level objects also from your Dev SLD to the QA Sld.
