Fiori & EA-HR prerequisites

Former Member

Hi,

I am installing SAP Fiori and running into an issue when I try to install the back-end add-ons. Our ECC system is already on EA-HR 607 but the Fiori add-on (in SAINT) only seems to test up to EA-HR 606. So it appears our system does not meet the prerequisite however it is actually on a higher version.

Has anyone else come across this? Is there a way around it?

Thanks,

Simon

What is the Fiori add-on package name?

Hi Masayuki,

I tried both the Timesheet and Paystub apps, the screen shot below shows the Timesheet one SAPK-600AGINSRA002

.

It checks EA-HR up to 606, but not 607. Our system is on 607 so this test fails and I can't go any further with the installation.

Thanks for your help,

Simon

I guess you found out an incompatibility. I assume you have HR Renewal 1.0 installed in your system, thus EA-HR having 607? Unless of course you have EHP7 which is clearly not supported according to PAM or the pre-requisites given in the Fiori Installation Guide.

Hi Samuli,

Yes exactly, HR Renewal is installed on the system.

Thanks

Simon

P.s. I have just raised a message with SAP Support... let's see.

Please refer the SAP Note No. 1841471 -section given below to resolve this issue:

“b) Attribute Change Package

    You must download Attribute Change Package(ACP) of the add-on if

    it exists. ACPs are available on SAP Service Marketplace:

    http://service.sap.com/SWDC

        -> Support Packages and Patches

           -> Search for Software Downloads

              -> <Enter Component name and Component release>

    Search options: Only "ABAP Support Packages and Patches"

Hi Nan,

You need to add ACP as mentioned above.

Attribute Change Package

    You must download Attribute Change Package(ACP) of the add-on if

    it exists. ACPs are available on SAP Service Marketplace:

    http://service.sap.com/SWDC

        -> Support Packages and Patches

           -> Search for Software Downloads

              -> <Enter Component name and Component release>

    Search options: Only "ABAP Support Packages and Patches"

Once you do that you will not have this error for EA-HR 607 and EAHR 608.

Hi Pankaj

thanks for reply. I downloaded the "Click to view info page View content info Add to download basket EA-HR=====607   Attribute Change Package 20 for EA-HR 607" and then load it by spam "support package -> load package -> from front end". the load finished successfully. and then I go to saint and try to import sra002. I got the same error. Do I miss anything? My EA-HR component version is 607 sp 0014.

Thanks!

Hi Nan,

Could you please attach a screenshot of the error. If you have downloaded ACP then you should not see this error.
