Hi,
Does SAP Recipe Development webdynpro applications use ABAP or Java stack? The SAP provided Webdynpro components for recipe development involved ABAP code, however I wanted to confirm which stack we should use to modify the existing recipe development applications? Can Java stack be used for SAP Recipe development? If we use Java, wouldnt it be on a separate system? My understanding is that we cannot have Java and ABAP stack on same system and since Recipe Development is dependent on EH&S, it probably will use ABAP stack since both EH&S and Recipe Development exist in the same system. Please suggest.
Thanks & Regards,
Naresh Makhijani.
Hi Naresh,
Recipe Development is part of SAP PLM 7.01/02, and as such, is entirely included in the NetWeaver ABAP stack. There is no need to use Java stack in this regard.
Best,
Rajeev
