We are in the process of implementing recipe development. However the standard recipe development functionalities are specific to food industry. The requirement is to customize it for a different industry which means that the existing layout to create recipes will have to be modified. I found in the SAP help link about some information related to adapting the standard system where we can mention our own calculation views and add the new labels.
However I am confused whether we would require someone to modify the layout directly using webdynpro or should these SAP provided calculation and labelling options be enough? Will these customization mentioned in the SAP help result in new calculation options on the screen or will someone have to modfiy the layout manually using webdynpro?
You may have to make changes in WebDynpro layer for getting certain formula results as columns in the Formula tab. Calculation Results tab can be entirely manipulated through configuration.
