ud problem

Hi sapguru,

    i have done ud for a particular lot size. but it in system qa13 it is showing blank .

pls help me.

Please provide more details. Screenshots can be helpful.

What is the lot status in QA03? is it showing UD status active there?

Dear Sandeep,

As you can clearly see, the system shows that UD has not been made for this specific lot.

1. Go to QA11

2. Put the inspection lot number.

3. Enter.

4. If your inspection lot has specifications/ inspection plans attached, you should perform the result recording prior to usage decision in QE01; else you will see the message as displayed below:

5. If RR already performed, you are OK to post the usage decision. System will not however restrict you from making usage decision without result recording.

To do so,

6. Select the UD code F4 help and choose appropriate UD code from the UD 'selected set'. If RR not performed, system will ask you to force close the characteristics. You can do the same.

7. Based upon the UD code you select, you will get the quality score as maintained in QS51 setting.

8. If the inspection lot is stock relevant, you will see the inspection lot stock tab active.

9. Post the quality stock to the stock categories as you require.

10. Save the usage decision.

Hello Sandeep,

Your Screen shot clearly reveals that UD has not been made for the specified Inspection lot.you can check the inspection lot again in QA32 or QA03 ...

If UD has been made then there must be an entry in the usg.Dec madde by field

        i have qs51 for follow up action & it is maiintained correctly . i have look around found that sap note no 175842 might helpthis issue . i want to know what steps to follow to implement sap note.

Hi Sandeep,

No. SAP note 175842 has nothing to do with it. This note allows you to reverse the UD stock posting.

Please test with the following test cases:

1. Remove the follow up action in QS51 and try to make usage decision for another lot, and check whether the UD code is being shown.

2. In QS51, check whether the selected set is 'released' or not.

   Exactly now my system is working fine .this problems occurs in some lots has been posted  with ud but ud record hasnot been created in table QAVE.so if i update ud for particular lot size in qave table than can my system will update ud for paticular lotsize in frontend

or if i apply sap note 175842 than reversal goods movment will happen & ud reset will happen so that i can enter ud for one more time

     i have solved the issue by making a entry to qals table with ud decision made entry as marked

after that issue has been resolved.
