Requested delivery date change for multiple sale order

Former Member

Dear Members

Im in order management and  we need to  change  requested  delivery change for multiple  sale orders on a  daily basis

Do we  have any transaction to  do it in one  go  instead of  doing a   each sale order which is time consuming

Thanks in advance

Mohan,

I suggest that before you embark on this development effort, you have your Business Process Owners re-evaluate the proposed change to the business process.

The "Requested Delivery" normally represents the date that the customer asked for the materials to be delivered.  I personally have never seen a marketplace where the customers requested a vendor (your company) to change the requested delivery date on a "daily" basis.

Hi,

How about executing standard BAPIs for same. As its a mass updation you can take help of your technical person to execute it and generate appropriate messages for each success/failure. by this...you can change req. delivery date as well as first date.

Execute Mass, select "Sales order header data" and click on "Fields" tab.  There select field "MASSSDHEAD_S-VDATU" and execute.  Here you can do en-mass change for the said field in one stroke.  But by doing so, you have to run availability check again either individually or execute V_V2 in background.  But scheduling this program quite frequently on daily basis is NOT recommended.

But this won't change the "first date" which is the reference for the ATP schedule line dates.
