QM - How to remove QA32 Inspection lots after order is completed

My company uses QA32 - usage decision to approve inspection lots during receiving and also after production orders have been completed. We want to keep approving inspection lots in receiving but we would like to do away with the inspection lot approval in production. This has no value add and has become a real big pain for the Quality department, our company has over 100 orders to approve in SAP a day.

we daily have to go 1 by one and complete the screenshot below with the letter A and then add the batch number and save. If we do not complete this then the finance team cannot close the order on their side.

I have tried Removing the Inspection Type in MM02 and then removing the material from the inspection plan in QP02 as suggested by our in house experts but that didnt do the trick.

Can you please help?

Deactivating appropriate inspection type from material master is the only solution for this, if you don't want inspection lot to be generated.

You can do that in mass also using QA08 transaction. Just ensure while deactivating inspection type no stock is lying in QI. That would throw an error otherwise.

In material master inspection setup data, remove the 'Active' checkbox against inspection type 04:

If this does not solve your problem, kindly revert back with the inspection  setup data screen for any of these produced materials.

I tried deactivating the inspection type. But as you can see it still shows the inspection lot for that part on the QA32 screen. Would this be effective on the next order or should the changes be immediate?

It will be effective for the new orders. The old lots will not be cancelled.

Before Deactivating the Inspection type against ORDER u need to check whether stocks are available in Quality Inspection

Are you using inspection type 04? After removing this type from material master, then no new inspection lots will be created after GR, using the standard. Or perhaps you chose 04 "Y" , early inspection lot, and the lot is created when releasing the order.  But, in any case, after removing from material master, then no new lot should be created.
