Cost calculation after optimizer - SAP TM 9.0

Dear experts,

is somebody familiar on how the field "costs" in the optimizer is calculated?

What data is it pulling in? If I look in the optimizer explanation, this value never comes up...

Hi Marcelo,

yes, I have already looked deeply in the cost settings in the planning profile. There I can select fixed costs and variable costs. The question is, how is that field getting calculated?

In my specific case, for the 2 possible transportation proposals, distance is the same, fixed costs are the same, other penalty costs are not affecting this value...

I would perhaps appreciate a bit more detail.

I found the triggers of this cost field. But not a lot of guideline coming from documentation. It was more a trial and error process. Nevertheless, thanks for your advice!
