Hi All
When I am trying to delete few Roles from BRM in SAP GRC AC I am getting following error message
|
Please help me to resolve this issue.
Regards
Pradeep
Pradeep,
I had a similar issue with GRC AC 10 SP11.
Roles were imported incorrectly, and we wished to clean up connector groups / etc. I deleted lots of Roles, and had some left with he message you also see.
Please check the following types of requests in Search Requests:
UAR
SOD
Role Approval
This was all in our GRC DEV environment.
After I deleted all of the "test" requests that were open, I was able to delete the roles (filter by role type, do the Composite, then Derived Roles, then Single Roles last).
Good Luck

Hi Pradeep,
This error comes only when the role you are deleting, is being used or associated in any Access Request.
Or if associated to parent roles, i.e. composite or business roles.
Please ensure no current access request is using this role. If yes, then you need to cancel the request first or complete it. Then try deleting the same role.
It should get deleted.

Hi Pradeep,
You can check the reports in Reports and Analytics, in order to check any role relationship with Users or composite roles.
There are some reports which you can check to identify role association:
-Single to composite role relationship
-Role relationship with user/ usergroup
-compare user roles.
Also, check that this spefic role which you want to delete, should not be a derived role. If yes, you need to ceck its Master role as well.
Hope this Information helps!
