Can we configure separate alerts for each and every interface or message type or it has to be at integration engine or adapter engine level? We want to create separate alerts so that separate individuals gets alert emails for the interfaces they are involved with.
Thanks,
Sudha Madhuri
HI,
Yes this can be done through the Alert configuration.
You would have to configure the Alert category for each interface and also can be configured certain recipient based on the sender and receiver service and interface also.
To do this first you would have to create the alerts in SAP Alert managment with ALRTCATDEF,and add the recipients in list , also give the email ids in su01, and respective confi in SCOT.And service ,interfaces and can config in RWB.
See the below blogs to get an idea.

1.You will need to define separate Alert Category for every alert
2. In the Alert Configuration in the RWB, you will have to use the Sender Service/ Receievr Server, Sender Interface and Receiver Interface with various combinations to deifne the corresponding alert rules for each alert category of step 1.
This is something that should not be done though.

hi sudha
u can def configure alerts or restrict alerts specific to interface. this u wud be doing in alert ruels. and here alerts mail to external system will be triggered based on SCOT config. this takes the email id that is defined in su01 sends it across. to restrict based on individuals per interface then u wud need to have the different alerts catorgory created which will have fixed recipents as per ur interface need
