Hi Jeff,

In SAP there's a parameter called login/no_automatic_user_sapstar with default value is 1. If the value is set to 1 automatic login of sap* into SAP system using password PASS won’t be allowed. So try to set the value of the parameter to 0 in the default profile and restart the instance. Automatic login of sap* with default password will be enabled.

For example my profile is located in the following path: DRIVE:\usr\sap\SID\SYS\profile and it's called DEFAULT.PFL

Reactivate locked SAP*  (with Oracle)

- Connect to the Server as <sid>adm

- Open CMD and connect to the DB

     sqlplus /nolog

     connect /as sysdba

- Execute commands:

DELETE FROM <DBSCHEMA>.usr02 WHERE bname='SAP*' AND mandt='000'; (schema is usually SAPSR3)

          COMMIT;

- Restart the System

- Logon to the SAP system 000, user SAP* and with password PASS

Also check OSS note 806819

Hope it helps!

Hi,

Please Check the time settings on the application server where the installation is running and on the server running .

It is important to check the time setting for the user running the installation - the <SAPSID>adm use.

Thanks

Thank you for your reply.

I has adjust the time to year 2043 .  You can see my trace. Because I want to get more time for use, I postpone the os time for 30 years.

Will it  take this porblem?

Jeff Please helpme how to trouble shoot the issue of DDIC password check while installation of ECC system

Hello Jeff,

The are the basic things you could check,

1) Make sure the SAP system is up and running

2) Make sure you are able to login to the System(SAP*/DDIC)

3) Make sure the password of the user DDIC is set to the Master Password.

If you face issue while loggind in using DDIC, you can try logging in using SAP* with Master Password else "06071992".

If all of the above passwors fail, then follow the below mentioned procedure:

a) Set the profile parameter to "login/no_automatic_user_sapstar = 0" restart the SAP system

b) Delete the user SAP* from the database

c) Login to the system using user SAP* and password PASS/pass

If these conditions are met, you could proceed with your installtion.

Thanks and Regards

Hi Jeff ,

Check by login into installed system with DDIC user ID and password (in client 000 ) and see if you are able to login into system successfully ?

Thanks
