Can anyone please help in explaining GDS repository mapping from an XML

Hi ,

Can you please help on the following prcess:- In GDS system:-

1. The Idoc file from ECC system is given to an PI.

2. PI converts Idoc to XML and XML is given to GDS system.

3. GDS console has Java Proxy Runtime which receives XML message from PI and GDS Console creates records in MDM repository table.

(Pls Note:- There is no import server)

Can anyone explain how the records are created and how filed mapping is done for record creation without using import server.
