RESRSE Error - Reference Flow Type 110 Z051 Does Not Exist

Former Member

Hi Expert,

In current system configuration there is one condition Z051. This is sales based condition.

When user run the settlement from RESRSE, it returns an error "Reference Flow Type 110 Z051 Does Not Exist". This is very strange error to the user since the other contracts which using the same condition can be processed successfully in RESRSE.

Having checked, I understand from the SAP help, reference flow type 110 is for Service Charge settlement. In fact, service charge process is not configured in the system since company is not using this process. Only sales based settlement is used.

Need your expert advise on how should I check this error? and if you have ever get the same error, please share the solution.

Thank you very much.

Kind Regards,

Aloysius

Dear Aloysius,

Please refer to the attached note 812724 for this issue.

*****QUOTE**
You can find the flow type that is used for the transfer as follows
(supposing that the flow type that is linked to the sales condition type
is 6000)

1.  Use relationship 30 'Distribution Postings (Object Transfers)' to
determine the reference flow type 6040.

2.  For receivables transfer:
Use relationship 110 'SCS: Receivable from Settlements' to determine
    the final reference flow type.

3.  For credit memo:
Use relationship 120 'SCS: Credit from Settlements' to determine the
    final reference flow type.
*****/QUOTE**

Use relationship 110 to determine the final reference flow type for
sales-based settlement.

Hi Bowen,

Thanks for the note. I will check and try the solutions.

However, just for my understanding. Does it mean regardless the information and description of the ref flow type(Servirce Charge). The configuration must be maintained even though we are not using Service Charge? .

While I am still wondering why the other posting was fine(for the same condition), I will just try the solution.

Kind Regards,

Hi Bowen,

Finally, I have found the reason of the problem.

It is not because of the missing configuration. As I have mentioned earlier, the other posting were just fine for the same condition.

This is purely user error. The user put the wrong frequency in the reporting rule.

Kind Regards,

Aloysius
