Search Help for User defined field in PO

Hi,

I have added one user defined field at PO header level in basic data .

I want to attach search help to this field.

Any help will be apprecited

Hi

<b>I guess you have a search help already available (say ZSEARCH) with you. Incase not, see the below links to get details of the search help)

Go to SE11 transaction. Give your custom append structure name. (refer to the OSS note, which guided you to create the custom field in PO Header level) -> Try looking OSS notes - 672960, 485891, etc.

The standard structure starting with ZAINCL* in this case where you appended the custom field needs to be changed.

Put the cursor on the field you want to add the search help (say ZZPOCUSTOMER field) and then double click on the field and there you will find a option to attach search help. Give the search help name (ZSEARCH) and click on save and then activate your custom ZA* structure.

This will cause all the standard dependent places wherever the structure is called in the Tables, structures, etc. will get activated.

Once this is done. Please publish all or the specifc service (I guess here it's BBP_POC) and then when logon via Web, you can see the search help available with the custom field.</b>
