EP Initial load on IDM 7.2

Hi,

I am trying to set up the initial load for EP on IDM 7.2

When i try to run the pass ReadASJavaGroups. It takes lot of time to read.

In the filter i have mentioned datasource=Private_Datasource.

The job is successful when, in the filter, the unique name is limited to just 1 group.

If i give even some thing like A* the job keeps running continuously only to restart after some time.

Do let me know if I am missing some thing.

How many users are we talking about?  Also, as Andreas mentioned, do you have a good network connection? Make sure there is a good network path between the IDM Database, the IDM Dispatcher and the SAP system you are working with.

Hi Praman!

Since the connection seems to work in principle, it could be your system/network connection is too slow for the amout of data you want to load, or the timeouts you have set for the job are too restrictive.

If the timeouts are too short, the system will give up on the running job and restart it prematurely.

Try marking the job as a "bootstrap job", which will give it more time to execute.
