Hello All,

While we are starting SAP , disp+work is shutting down.

When I have tried to connect R3trans , it is not connecting to MSSQL DB.

For more info attaching trans.log, dev_disp and dev_w0 log file for your reference here

Please suggest if any of you come across such errors.

Thanks!

Hi

Check:

1. Is your DB server running

2. Is SQL Server running

3. Is the database log file full?  If so, perform a backup of the log file.

4. Is the database full?  Is autoextend on?

5. Have you recently moved the DB instance to another virtual server?

6. Have you changed the default profile at the operating system level manually and directed it to the wrong server/instance?

those pointers might help.

Let us know the results please.

thanks,

Graham

Hi Tushar,

[Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 10.0]A network-related or instance-specific error has occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. Server is not found or not accessible.

Check if instance name is correct and if SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections.

please check your db is online and db server is accessable from R3 server.

Please check env related to db name .

Hi,

Can you please check at the firewall and the antivirus has been disable for sap related programs.

do you have SQL Server Native Client from a previous installation was already present on the Windows Server machine.

Do you have BI 4 on that server installed ?
