Unable to access Punchout catalog

Hi All,

We got one issue, where user is trying to access Punchout Catalog however user is getting Login window once he clicks on the catalog available. When user enter his details, he is getting "failed login" error.

Please let me know the possible root cause.

Hi Sunil,

Normally punch out catalogs don't ask for the user ID and password.

All the details should have been maintained in the catalog call structure in SRM and it should connect automatically to the punch out portal seamlessly while clicking on the catalog link in SRM.

There might be two reasons for this issue:

1. The user ID and password provided by the punch out vendor might not be correct. In that case you need to contact the vendor to check and to provide the correct details. Later you can maintain the same in the call structure in SRM.

2. For SRM 7.01/02 and if you are using IE 7.0/8.0, there might compatibility issue with IE due to which it asks for credentials. In this case, please refer the note 1511147 to change the IE settings.

Hi Sunil,

The fact that the login fails on the catalog's login page with the correct login data suggests that the issue is on the catalog provider's side.

Have you tried to call the catalog directly (not from SRM) with the same url and parameters that you have maintained in the SRM call structure?
