How to create an individual work?

Hi Team,

We are working on the functionality of  Individual Work in the module booking context and have the following couple of queries:

1) To book CI to ST the following is what we do : PIQST00 -> Module Booking -> Select Module _> select CI under SM and book.Hope this is the procedure.

2) While booking modules for students,if we are trying to book the students to - two Individual Works (CI) of the same SM, it is showing only one while viewing the student under Academic Work. Where do we see all Individual Works (multiple for the same SM) of the STs ?

3) What is the T.Code  to create CI?

Hi Team,

There is a typo in the earlier message.We had 3 queries and not a couple as stated.

In query # 2 the T.Code for Academic Work is PIQSTAW00. (im sure you know it..but just in case).

just to add another option for 3:

You can also create individual work from the Modul Catalog.

Just find the module or business event and select "Environment -> Edit individual Work Data" (or context menu or tool bar icon :-).

Also watch the keydate.

Depending on your process this could be an option to create individual work in advance, before you know the individual student who will book it.

CI created here will be bookable in PIQST00.

Hi Ramesh,

1) Yes, correct: How to book / create individual work:

Prerequisite:

Module or an attached business event type must be from a category defined as “individual work”

Booking steps:

Start module booking, and select a module into the single booking screen

• Book the module and business event (if CI attached to D)
• Use individual work function to book / create CIs:

1. Displayed within tab page (if module is assigned CI) or
2. Displayed next to business event (if event type is assigned CI)

2) Only one individual work per module at a time is possible to view.

3) see 1. The CI is created after the booking of the individuel module/event.
