Issues with Inbound email ofr Offline Approval

Hi All,

We are currently on SRM 7.0  and are implementing the Offline Approval functionality for SRM workflow. During testing we realized that the inbound emails (approval responses) are reaching the shared inbox (inbox of WF-BATCH user) but are not visible in the SOIN transaction and hence the workitem is not getting updated. We have done the configuration in the SAPconnect and SO50 for inbound emails. Am i missing something here?

Further there is a possibility (still being confirmed) that the exchange server to SAP SMTP connection is not permitted due to group policy, hence the inbound emails are not showing in SOIN inbox. Is there a way to get the emails from the shared email (WF-BATCH) to the SAP system using a POP3.

Hi ,

This belongs to BC-SRV-COM. Please try in their foruns.

A tip:


First please ensure followings:
-Tr. SMICM >> SMTP service is set to different port, than 0
-Tr. SCOT >> Inbound queue is not turned on, if it is you will see
a message at the bottom of the screen
-Tr. SICF >> SAPconnect service active and has correct user and
password maintained. This user should have profile S_A.SCON.

If all of the above is correct then please carry out a Telnet test
for the Inbound direction as per note 607108 and attach the full
test to this message.
