Error in Edi Seperator Sender channel

Hi ,

While testing my scenario (EDI to file) am getting the below error in Edi Separator Sender channel

"com.sap.aii.af.lib.mp.module.ModuleException: senderChannel : Catching exception calling messaging system. Will deliver negative 997 if requested"

other than X12ConverterModule whether i need to add any Module parameters in sender channel in PI 7.31.

.

Dear,

Please have a look at your receiver EDISeparator adapter, which is going to produce the acknownledgement. Afterwards, you need a sender EDISeparator adapter to process that acknowledgement.

No need to add extra modules, just make sure your flow is complete.

Hi Karthikeyan,

Please upgrade component PIB2BTOOLKIT to the latest patch level. This is 22 and will fix a lot of bugs and errors, Especially concerning acknowledgements.

After the upgrade, test again and provide the feedback on this thread.

Patch level of the  system is shown below :-

Is any patch up gradation required or not.Please let us know.

I see you are on SP2 and specifically for the TOOLKIT, you are on patch 13

Please note that SAP released patch level 39 recently.

Perhaps you should consider an (patch level) upgrade, but please keep in mind the possible dependencies. They are indicated like this:

Is any thing additional Configuration required.

Patch level up gradation is the only way or not?.

Is it required any '997' Acknowledgement configuration or any additional things in B2B cockpit is to be taken care .

In your receiver EDIseparator adapter, you need to indicate that an acknowledgement message is required. No need for any module.

To get that acknowledgement message, you need to configure a sender EDISeparator adapter for further handling that message. No need for any module.

For further processing of your X12 messages, you need one or more sender EDISeparator adapters using the converter module you indicated.

We have 1 Receiver  EDI Separator without any module.

and 2 sender EDI separator ,one for 997 without any modules and one for 850 with module (X12ConverterModule) .

We are still facing the same error.

We have also tried the same scenario without acknowledgement as well

and we are again facing the same issue.

Please advice if we have to try  something different

Dear Dimitri,

We have up graded the SP2 patch  level 39 and tried the scenario getting with same error.

In sender EDI separator channel we called X12ConverterModule ,please confirm  if any additional jar or sca files to be installed to access the converter module or is it enough with B2B tool Kit.

The scenario is working now.We have placed wrong namespace in XSD before, irrespective to the namespace of the scenario.Now changed the namespace  respective to the scenario and got worked.
