We followed the below step as the part of internship offering:
The above steps creates a link in initial screen:( Refer to the attachment 1)
The problem is that when we click on the icon on the initial screen, it is taking us to the web screen as shown below:
So is there a standard method to create the above or we need to follow some steps to create the same?

Hi Ramesh,
The links are not working? Some other questions; are you using Ehp6 and did you activate the internship functionality already the Switch Framework? All of the internship functionality comes with Ehp6 and needs to be fully activated to make complete use of it.
Cheers

Hi Rob,
Thanks for the reply.
Yes..we are using Ehp 6 and the Internship functionality has also been activated using the Switch Framework.Probably our team here is missing out on something.
Sorry..the screen-shots apparently doesn't get pasted.Let me list down the steps we followed:
1. Using SFW5 we activated ISHERCM_INTERNSHIP
2.The following steps were followed.
Maintain internship registrations using stand-alone application.
Web Dynpro Applicat. : PIQ_ISH_REGIST
Description : Internship Configuration
Application Config. : PIQAC_ISH_REGIST_CONFIG_OVP
3. The above ensured that we got a llink in the initial screen just below the 'Favourites' bar.
Our issue starts here.On clicking on the link 'Internship Configuration' a internet explorer web screen opens...but it says 'internet explorer cannot display the webpage'.
We went through the path that opened in the web page and figured that the webdynpro component PIQ_ISH_REGIST does not exist.
Do we need to do something here?
Regards
Ramesh

Ramesh,
Did you try to test application via SE80? Check this service is active via SICF?

Hi Prabhat,
Thanks.
The service is active via SICF.
As for SE80,we checked for the Web Dynpro Comp/Intf. PIQAC_ISH_REGIST_CONFIG_OVP. Under Views and Windows i get to see only 'Dummy_View' and Dummy_Window.Further on,we made a few Basis setting post which on execution of the same it throws the error 'Internal Service Error'.
From our end we are trying to figure this out.If you too have faced a similar issue or have already figured this we would love to get the solution.
Regards
Ramesh.

Ramesh,
Please first check if the package PMIQ_INTERNSHIPS is there. If so then test directly from ERP with a new favorite with the following data:
- Webdynpro: PIQ_ISH_REGIST
- Config: PIQAC_ISH_REGIST_CONFIG_OVP
This should immediately start the self-service. If not please try and use another browser and try other non-SLcM FPM services. It might be that you mis some FPM services.

Hi Rob and Prabhat,
Thanks a lot for the support. The Application seems to be working fine now.It does give the screen shown by Rob in the earlier message.
For the benefit of those who may face this issue i'm summarising the additions we made:

Ramesh.
