SAP Sourcing 9.0 - Initial Configuration

Former Member

Hi Experts,

We are starting the implementation of the 9th wave of SAP Sourcing.

We have followed http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-34930 and the configuration guide for our initial configuration steps.

1st step – Context

2nd step – Cluster

We create two: one internal and other external

Internal cluster

3rd Step – Directory

We create two: one internal and other external

Finally we activated the both clusters

But when we are trying to login with enterprise user the logon fails.

What is missing in this configuration to access with enterprise user and start the data migration?

We have an urgency in this matter...

Thank you for your support.

Best Regards

Luis Palmeiro

Hi Luis,

I am not sure if you UME configuration is all fine.

If you want to setup the system with local authentication if may use the following steps.

1.       Login as system

2.       Create a Directory Template (internal)

a.       External ID: template.buyside

b.      Display Name: Buyside template

c.       Usage: Active Internal

d.      Changeable Passwords = TRUE

e.      Expired Passwords = TRUE

f.        New Accounts = TRUE

g.       Browsing = TRUE

h.      Driver: Local

3.       Create a Directory Template (external)

a.       External ID: template.sellside

b.      Display Name: Sellside template

c.       Usage: Active External

d.      Changeable Passwords = TRUE

e.      Expired Passwords = TRUE

f.        New Accounts = TRUE

g.       Browsing = TRUE

h.      Driver: Local

4.       Create a Cluster Template

a.       External ID: cluster.template

b.      Display Name: Cluster Template

c.       Host Name: <computer where install is being done>

d.      Port: <computer port where deployed> (e.g., 8080)

5.       Create a new Tenant Configuration

a.       Use templates previously created

Checks:

1)      Ensure tenant is created successfully

2)      Login as “enterprise” into new tenant

6.       Import the Enterprise workbook that you have created

- In the screenshot, the cluster configuration displayed in inactive. It should be active.

- Host name should only have sapsrmscrdev01.xxxxx.com. Remove the additional content starting from port number.

Please refer to the below link for more details.
