What is the difference between gewei and gewei_max in VEKP?
Thanks
Hi Was,
My Observation is GEWEI is weight Unit which you maintained in your Returnable Packaging Material Master.
GEWEI_MAX is Unit for the Total weight maintained. (Tare Weight of RTP + Loaded Goods)

Both are relevant for unit of measurement for weight.
Table-Field | Description | Related Table Field for value |
---|---|---|
VEKP-GEWEI | It stands for Unit of measurement for tare gross weight. This is related to gross weight of packing material without the goods. | VEKP-TARAG |
VEKP-GEWEI_MAX | It stands for Unit of measurement for gross weight. This is related to gross weight of shipment. | VEKP-BRGEW & VEKP-NTGEW |
Cheers, JP
