JVM UPGRADE STUCK patch level 150

Hi Experts

I have started JVM upgrade from level 25 to 32.

i got stuck at Execution phase START JAVA request you to suggest some steps to go further.

i checked logs it stopped at sap_contol_yellow start phase

request you for valuable suggestions and help

Please check

Note 1611326 - Patching the SAP JVM 4.1 manually for NetWeaver 2004 and 7.0

Note 1495160 - SAP JVM as replacement for Partner JDKs 1.4.2

please check sapcontrol command for status of you java.

sapcontrol -nr <> -function GetProcessList

Hi ,

Can you please check this.

For Upgrade or EHP Installation to SAP Netweaver target release 7.0, 7.2, 7.3 or higher download the latest SUM / SAPup / SAPEhpi BEFORE starting the upgrade or update procedure.

For SAP Netweaver target releases 7.1 SP 4 or 7.1 EHP 1 or higher, or if the error occured during upgrade/update procedure you have to do the following:

Comment out (that is, you insert an #  at the beginning of a code line) the following lines in the start profile as follows:

# Start syslog collector daemon

#

#_CO = co.sap$(SAPSYSTEMNAME)_$(INSTANCE_NAME)

#Execute_$$ = local rm -f $(_CO)

#Execute_$$ = local ln -s -f $(DIR_EXECUTABLE)/rslgcoll $(_CO)

#Start_Program_$$ = local $(_CO) pf=$(_PF) -F

#

# Start syslog send daemon

#

#_SE = se.sap$(SAPSYSTEMNAME)_$(INSTANCE_NAME)

#Execute_$$ = local rm -f $(_SE)

#Execute_$$ = local ln -s -f $(DIR_EXECUTABLE)/rslgsend $(_SE)

#Start_Program_$$ = local $(_SE) pf=$(_PF) -F

Afterwards,  you can continue with the upgrade.

Hi Rishi,

Issue is system log SLOGJ was able to update. so i moved SLOGJ and restarted system .

system created SLOGJ and pahse went forward.
