Value table at domain not appearing as input help in webdynpro

I have configured a value table for a domain in DDIC. A screen element in SAP GUI created by using this domain/data element show the entries in the value table in f4 help.

If the same field is created on a view in webdynpro, i assign 'Automatic' to the input help  attribute in the context. But the field does not show any f4 help.

Any suggestions here will be appreciated.

Hi Vikram,

Value table does not provide F4 help. Domain fixed values or check table will give f4 help.

Please check you sap GUI field is having any search help assigned.

I implemented a freely programmed search help as a workaround. it is a standard DTE thus I cannot add a custom search help to it (at least without a change request or note). But the freely programmed search help suits my requirement.

Hi Vikram,

Create search help for that component in data dictionary. It will automatically gives you value table for F4 help.
