Hi all,

I am able to login to mobile sucessfully but I could not see any categories.

Even the BI launchpad  , I don't see any categories. So I manually created one but I don't see that too in the mobile

We are 4.0 SP5

Hi RUC,

You have to login to CMC

go to Categories

create a category called Mobile and MobileDesigned ( as it is )

once done, add few webi reports to both categories

now login to ipad and check

I created Mobile and MobileDesigned categories.

Added a sample report to the categories. But I don't see them saving into this categories and I observed as it is saving in my favorites ( BI Luanchpad ).

In Mobile too I don't see them.

Did you check page 8 of the help documentation for access rights?

Have you configured your BI Platform for mobile?  That is documented in the help for BI4

In BI4.1 it automatically installs.

Tammy, I completed configuring mobile. I am able to successfully login to BI Mobile through my iphone.

I don't see any sample or any categories . I tried adding them to Mobile & MobileDesigned ( Manually created ) but I don't see them in Mobile or BILuanchpad.

On the BI platform there is configuration as well.

If you have configured BI mobile on the platform (not just on your mobile device) and it still isn't working, then I recommend submitting a SAP support ticket.

Configured BI mobile on the platform means do I need to configure something in CMC for mobile.

I though 4.0 SP5 doesn't need any . Please advise me.

RUC - please read the help to install Mobile BI on the BI Platform.  It is covered there.  This should work once you have deployed/configured the mobile server.

Sorry, I am confused. I am on 4.0 SP 5 and mobile is already installed .

I can able to login to BI Mobile app successfully, The only issue is I don't see categories.

Are you sure that you are looking Server and not My Items in BO Mobile?

HI RUC,

give me a screenshot of the following:

login to CMC as administrator

go to categories

go to Mobile and MobileDesigned categories

once in, take a snapshot both both

what i expect is a sample webi report in both of these categories

to add a report to any categories

go to that report

right click, categories

assign it to Mobile and MobileDesigned categories

Categories created on BI Launchpad are not seen on ipad. This is a normal behaivour

you should directly be able to see the report, once it is connect to your BO server

The above is worked, Thanks a lot  Atul.

In one way I am confused, from rich client I saved to categories but it didn't work.

When I right click the report in BI launchpad and say category then it worked. So I have to manually select from BIluanch pad
