Hi,

According the information in java site, I found that in Java 7.25, there is a

new security function are added.

The mixed code may cause the performance problem. You can disable this option.

And about the mixed code, there is also a problem in Java 7 Update 21

You can see the KBA below.

1851792 - In BI 4.0 and XI 3.1

when using Java 7 update 21 when you close the Web Intelligence Rich Internet

Application in the browser you will get a prompt to Block unsafe components

Asma

Hello Asma,

Yes i believe you are correct. When i reverted back to 7 21 there is a block unsafe components block, i was able to disable this.

Everything seems to be working 100% with Java 7 update 21 whilst running BO SP6 Patch 4.

Do we have the same behavior [error] observed in other browsers.

I suspect that the manifest file got corrupted during the install itself. Possible scenario during the install the warfiles were not currently installed.

A redeploy of warfiles might not help as it is with warfiles available at SAP Business Objects 14.0 / warfiles location. You can do a repair and check whether it helps.

Hello Arvind,

Thanks for replying. Have tried the following

1. Running Repair- deploy (error still occurs)

2. Revert pack to patch SP6 patch 00 (error still occurs)

3. Fresh install on new virtual machine (error still occurs)

i think it is a browser or java issue, i am using java 7.25 on the client end.

I have found a solution.

I can confirm that there are some issues with using Java 7.25 and BOBJ SP6, 00 to patch 04 loading web intelligence via the web portal takes 2 minutes. (Java console reports the errors above)

I uninstalled Java 7.25, reverted back to 7.21 and Web intelligence loads under 10 seconds.

Seems like some security feature in 7.25 is causing the issue.
