Dear community,
i wonder what possibility are there to practice ABAP programming on windows 8?
Today i installed the "SAP NetWeaver AS ABAP 7.02 SP6 32-bit Trial" version on such OS. It seems to be running and i am curious if i could ignore the following error, without fear of jeopardizing my system.
Thanks in advance for Your response!
van
Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012 are only supported using the 7.20 amnd 7.21 EXT kernels.
This SICK message is posted at the first login after a restart of the ABAP Server and can't only be switched off (except using the appropriate kernel version).
kind regards
Peter
