Surrogate Bidding tab activation

Hi All,

I am Using  BAPI   BBP_PD_BID_CREATE for  Creating the bid and I created the bid successfully but  I am unable to activate the surrogate bidding tab in the  front end portal(nwbc). Could you please help me how enable the surrogate tab and its field using the code in SRM.

Hello ,

I have a strange issue , even though the bidders not enabled for the "Permit surrogate bid" still the system  is allowing to do surrogate Bid.

Any pointers  please.

Hi abhay

Surrogate bidding is a functionality that will be used for bidding on behalf to the bidder.

That will be activated once you are activated in the business partner level, Also contact person should be maintained there for the business partner.

Hi,

there is no separate surrogate tab.

You have to enable surrogate bidding in the supplier master with the checkbox 'permit surrogate bidding' for the bidder you have maintained in the bid itself.
