Saplikey error

Dear all,

I got this message when installing SAP NW 731.

Can you help me?

SAP NetWeaver 7.3 > Oracle > SAP Systems > Application Server ABAP > Standard System > Standard System( Last error reported by the step:    

Execution of the command "C:\XXX\SYS\exe\uc\NTAMD64\saplikey pf=\\XXX\SYS\profile\LVV_DVEBMGS00_XXX -install_first_temp H1140080520 XXXXXX" finished with return code 2. Output: saplikey: failed to connect to the database.

Hi Luan,

In general such issue occurs if you are using an older SAP Kernel. Since your release is 731, can you please check if you are using latest version of 720_EXT. If not then please exit from SUM tool,

update the kernal and start it again.

Please check the sap note mention by Deepak and can you please check db connectivity using

R3trans -d .

Please provide the output of R3trans -d and trans.log for more info.
