Hi,

I have done the steps but still has an error. What I did is deleted the files in the download directory and also in the EPS/in folder then proceed but, when the next step came, it prompts for "The program has not found a matching saint package for 'CTS_PLUG'. I downloaded a new file in SMP and extracted it in EPS/in folder then choose scan EPS inbox and upload new packages but still error appeared.

Hi Almira

We also face the same issue, but our package is SAPK-747BHINWEBCUIF, the error is :

2 ETQ373 parameter "EV_MESSAGE" = "Cofile SAPK-747BHINWEBCUIF could not be opened"

2EETQ095 Disassembling package queue failed, rc = "3", reason = "Cofile SAPK-747BHINWEBCUIF could not be opened"

Do you find the reason or solution, hope your reply.

Hi Tao,

We are doing a EHP5 to 7 upgrade and are hit with the same error on the same package you got error above.

Can you please share if and how did you resolve your issue?

Hi,

In order to resolve this issue check the following:

-If there are write permission on usr\sap\trans for all users?
-Are you using the latest available version of r3trans and tp?
-Is there enough free disk space in usr\sap\trans directory?

- And also this issue may occur if the package is corrupted. Please
download the package

SAPKITAB7I from the SMP again (remove the
old package by Tcode SEPS-> Menu Inbox, Mark SAPKITAB7I

for deletion)
and UNCAR it and place in EPS\in directory and
use SPAM transction->Utilies->Disassemble Support Package function.

Hi,

- There are write permissions for all users.

- Yes, i am using the latest r3trans and tp version for kernel 720 ext.

- Yes there is enough disk space. It has 87.4 GB free for USR drive.

I have also done delete of old package in SEPS the uncar of SAPKITAB7I. But when i go to SPAM and Disassemble support package function, i can't see the SAPKITAB7I package.

How should I proceed next?

Thank you!

Hello,

Hi Almira

from your screenshot the size of your PAT file is wrong. it should be arround 22MB...

and the PAT file should be called CSN0120061532_0073057.PAT

<sidadm>@<solman_host> 311% sum CSN0120061532_0073057.PAT

21975 43215 CSN0120061532_0073057.PAT

Please try redownload SAPKITAB7J.SAR  from the service market place, put the SAR file in your SUM upgrade download directory and repeat the SUM failed step.

If this doesnt work, un-SAR [e.g. SAPCAR -xvf] the file SAPKITAB7J.SAR in your /usr/sap/trans/EPS/in/ and repeat the SUM failed step.

Cheers

hello Almira

could you please post logs of the failed step?

Thanks

Francois

Hello,

1. Download SAPKITAB7I package from the SMP. It will be a SAR file.

2. Extract it into the ../EPS/in/ directory. Now the PAT files will exist in the ../EPS/in/ direvtory.

3. Now disassamble the package as suggested.

I hope its clear now.

PS : Disassambling the package is not going to harm your system. Tool is actually trying to disassamble only.

one more thing :

4 ETQ010 Date & Time: 20130815161259

2 ETQ374 parameter "EV_RC" = "3"

2 ETQ373 parameter "EV_MESSAGE" = "Cofile SAPKITAB7I could not be opened"

2EETQ095 Disassembling package queue failed, rc = "3", reason = "Cofile SAPKITAB7I could not be opened"

4 ETQ399 Deleting 'F:\usr\sap\DS3\SUM\abap\data\RITAB7I.SAP'.

1 ETQ399 SYSMANDEBUG_ASCSSYSNUM: ''.

1 ETQ399 SYSMANDEBUG_ASCSHOST: ''.

1EETQ399 Last error code set is 'Disassembling patch queue failed rc = 3, reason = 'Cofile SAPKITAB7I could not be opened'

If you put new packages in the download directory, use option 'init' to upload them'

1EETQ204 Upgrade phase "EHP_INCLUSION" aborted with severe errors ("20130815161259")

So it seems that the package is corrupted.

Just for query. Is it possible to reset the current upgrade and start it again. Its in initial phase so should not be a issue. Download the package again from the SMP and then you can let the SUM take care of the rest.

This will ensure that everything is consistent.

Gaurav

Hello Almira

Please provide the checksum for the PAT file CSN0120061532_0073057.PAT.... this will definitely confirm if your file is corrupt...

Thanks
