Hi Experts,

We are facing an issue with solman 7.1 stack generation. While generating the stack file, we are getting following error (Attached).

We are using windows server 2008 R2 Database Edition with MS Sql 2008. SAP server application solman 7.1 support pack is SP12.

.

Thanks,

Raj kishor

Hi Raj,

Please crosscheck your Technical System in LMDB.

Generally product details are contained in table SWFEATURE and PRDVERS.

Please check these above mentioned tables using TA SE16 in your system(which you want to upgrade)

You can delete the entry for SAP SOLUTION MANAGER 7.0 EHP 1 from LMDB technical system.

Creating logical system and solution is not always mandatory(In SOLMAN 710 SPS05 or higher) if you are running standard products of SAP(Unless you have modified something as per standard software logistics.)

As soon as you will create new product system you will get option of "create transaction" to launch MOPZ.

In addition to that please check thread

Hello,

Due to the way the requisites of certain Netweaver product instances were calculated, Maintenance Optimizer wrongly added Solution Manager 7.0 EHP1 to the list of product versions.

This has been solved, it was purely a problem on our end, no need for code corrections on your Solution Manager system.

Please try with a new Maintenance Optimizer transaction. You should see no Solution Manager in the target product versions step.

Looks like your product system is not correct in LMDB.

Why solman and CRM are under the same product system? check that.

Also you have some conflicting information here:

Screenshot shows SolMan 7.01 with SRM, but you are specifying issues with SolMan 7.1?

Also SolMan 7.1, is currently at SP08, and SP10 is slated for the end of this year; not sure what SP12 you are referring...
