Problems for establish connection from IDT universe to infocube on SAP BW 7.3

Hi.

I'm trying to establish connection from IDT to InfoCube on SAP BI 7.3 but it doesn´t work.

The error is about of Data Federator Driver when it try to make the RFC connection wtih SAP BW.

Here the error:

com.sap.connectivity.cs.java.drivers.DBDError: [Data Federator Driver] [Server] [Connector 'testSourceConnection1376499017341'] An error occurred while trying to ping the server: SAP NetWeaver BW has reported an RFC error: Error en la llamada de retorno RFC: Error when opening an RFC connection (CPIC-CALL: ' ThSAPOCMINIT' : cmRc=2 thRc=67

Has anyone ever had this error?

The SAP BO version is SP6 with patch level 3.

Hi,

If you go to www.service.sap.com/notes and search for error text "ThSAPOCMINIT" on component BI-BIP-SL ...  you'l hit notes like:

1755433 - BI4.0 - IDT - Multi Source Universe connection error: "Timeout expired while testing the connection. Please check the configuration parameters"

1847847 - BI 4.0 Data Federator: Error when opening an RFC
connection

1892566 - BI4.x: Problem when creating relational connection
to BW cube: Could not start JCo Server / Connect to SAP gateway failed / Error
hostname unknown

following these notes (BW BASIS Admin task) will solve your issue .
