Shipping & Receiving Calendars in SNP Heuristics

Hi All

Is it necessary to maintain the GI/GR fields in the Product/Locn Master in APO for SNP heuristics to consider the Shipping /Receiving calendar for planning the STR's?

Hi Rachel,

Just to explain a bit more...

1. Shipping/Receiving calendars are used to indicate the actual working days for a location -- so that orders are created keeping in mind the working days (excluding holidays).

2. GR/GI time are required only if you are spending some time in Goods Receipt / Goods Issue at a location. For this you need to maintain a handling resource in APO at the location master and GR/GI days in Product-Location Master.

SNP heuristic does not need GR/GI time for using receiving/shipping calendar.

Hi Rachel

For SNP Heuristics the GR/GI fields do not have to be populated for shipping and receiving calendars to be both respected.
