How to get relevant mails alone ?

Hi

As of now i get mail notifications  from irrlevant threads also...i want mail notifications from my threads alone....had been to preferences and checked "off " email notifications and also stopped " stopped trackinh " from the thread that i consider irrlevant to me...also clicked""stop receiving email notifications " from that thread that i consider irrlevant despite all this still am getting irrlevant messages from different threads...am exhausted now of trying all options ...is there any way out to stop foreign mail and receive mails from my discussion alone...your inputs will be of great help

Also try going to the following link:

On the right hand side, you should come see Actions as follows, now click  "Stop Tracking" and then "Stop email notifications".

Actions             

•                     Start a discussion                    
•                     Write a document                    
•                     Write a blog post                    
•                     Stop email notifications                    
•                     Stop tracking                    
•                     Track in Communications                    
•                     View feeds

This should resolve it.

You have two options:

• Adjust your eMail preferences to receive only what appears in communications.  What appears in communications is what you chose to track and the content you created or participated on (comment, reply)
• Turn everything off and manually select Receive eMail notifications on the content, place and people you want to be notified about by eMail.
