Hi All,

I am exactly facing the same issue described in the below thread.

http://scn.sap.com/thread/3311181

We have tried  using user with all access( j2ee , pisuper ) but getting the same error?

Could it be a problem with Java Version?

If someone have face this issue please help. Thanks.

Hi Biplab,

Have you checked the SAP Knowledge Base Article 1690250 - Error when executing Display/Edit in PI ESR/Directory?

Hi All,

Issue has been solved.

Issue:

Unable to change/edit any object in Integration Directory. The following error message appears whenever user tries to change any object.

Root Cause

In PI 7.31 by default there are no users added in the Integration directory.

Solution

User who needs access should be added in the default authorization list as shown below.

1)Goto Tools-> Default Setting for Authorization

2) Add users who need access

  1. Click on + button
  2. Choose “User”
  3. Add user
  4. Click on “Authorization”
  5. Select All Actions
  6. Click on Apply

You should be able to edit all object now. Good Luck.

Hi Biplab das,

Did you check your authorizations?

close the ID and open it again and Refresh the cache.

If not resolved restart the server once.

Hi Bhargava,

Yes- I have SAP ALL.

And just now i did a full cache refresh.

I did following but no luck.

1) Checked with almost every version of Java

2) Cleared all cache data

3) Tried with different browser

Is it realy an authorization issue?

Regards
