Hi friends,

I have a problem with saplpd.

When ever my user tries to take print with the output device LOCL, the user is not getting the printout .

Following is the saplpd error messages:

<b>"Error:StartPage failed ret=0,error =Overlapped I/O Operation is in progress

Error:Error-1 from NEWFRAME. Disk full?

Error:put_block failed at new_page[]

Error:BG:saplpd_close_dc failed,msg=808 SAPLPD:Windows Problem,siehe SAPLPD protokoll"</b>

I checked the version of saplpd, It is 6.22

There is enough free sapce in user's laptop disk

Please suggest me the solution.

Thanks in Advance

Naveen

Hi Naveen,

What is the access method? If it is S or U, you should use SAPSprint. If it is F, the customer should use G.

Please note that SAPLPD is no longer developed. You should consider using SAPSPRINT instead (note <a href="http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/894444">894444</a>) to avoid problems such as these.

The spool & output requests are successful however, it shows "<i>Possibly printed"</i> in the output request log.

Kindly advice what should be done.

Thanks and regards,

seems to be OS error, can you install new driver for the printer?

Also It is better to register saplpd as a service, if you haven't done so. (See below SAP note)

#42268 Operate SAPLPD as a service on Windows NT/2000/XP

If issue persists, try get the latest saplpd. (See SAP note 328252)

#328252 SAPLPD patches in SAPnet

If issue persists, try increase the debug level of saplpd to the highest level. (See SAP Note 12552)

#12552 Request for debugging information for SAPLPD

cheers,
