Hi experts,
We are using separate model for planning long term supply chain. We have created a LT model (with an LT1 & LT2 versions) and assigned existing locations from active model and created some more locations in the LT model. Also we have created products at these locations. These location products do not exist in active model.
When we try to maintain some data through MASSD or through MAT1 for this LT1 or LT2 versions), system gives error "the location product is not created for this planning version". However we are able to see the data in planning book for both version and also are able to run planning heuristic/optimizer etc. We can also see the product master data for LT1 version through planning book (by right clicking in the shuffler).
In short, we are not able to maintain separate data for version LT1 & version LT2.
Is there a way to assign products to planning version like we do for Model?
Please help.

Hi Nitin,
In the MAT1 transaction, after entering your product and location, there is a button 'Choose Planning version' - Click that. This will give you a planning version field to enter your planning version. Then click 'Create' button. Enter the required values and save it.
