Hi,

I had set up a background job for the user.

I have save the report with a perticular layout and with a variant.

Now when the report is transmitted to the user on regular intervals, the report comes with only 17 columns, where as it should be 23 columns.

This is what my user is getting

This is what he is suppose to get ( ignore that it is showing excel file format, just look for the columns)

What am I missing, could you help?

Regards,

Sridhar.

Hello,

while scheduling the job you will get Background print parameters window. you can set output format (default is X_65_80) there. check if this works for you.

Can we change it now?

i don;t think for the job that's been executed....you may have to schedule it again with new parameters.

Yes I agree, but for the job which is not yet created, suppose the job for tomorow,

What parameter, do you think I should change and where

while scheduling the new job (via. se38 or sm36) you will be asked to set print parameters. this is the window wherein you have to provide output device as well. in the asme window goto properties, format...here you can set output rows and columns.
