Solved: "How-To" Guide to setup an EM scenario to be used ...

Hi Everyone,

I would like to setup a EM sandbox in our lab environment

and went thru a couple of documentation but was wondering whether there is a kind of cookbook or "How-To" guide with basic steps on how to setup EM.

For example to be able to demo a simple scenario (in my case in the context of TM).

Doing so I would like to be able to have the possibility to demo the principles of SAP EM (event handling) to our Business people.

What would be helpful already is some kind of check list which depicts an order of steps to be done and referenced doc's

like:

- SCM and EM installation and activation on SXY_100

- Implement SAPnote 1755495

- MasterGuide_EM_900_FINAL.pdf

- Integration TM - EM.pdf

- SAP Event Management - Scenarios for SAP Transportation Management.pdf

- OperationsGuide_EM_900_FINAL.pdf

with maybe some details per setup step ?!

Hello Joachim,

to setup the delivered scenarios you should find all steps in document Integration TM - EM.pdf.

It describes the settings like system connections, EM enablement in TM, registering queues etc. that nneds to be done.

Afterwards you should get EH for the enabled Freight Unit and Freight Order Types.

If something goes wrong check the log in the TM system in transaction /SAPTRX/ASAPLOG.

A scenario description is available in SAP Event Management - Scenarios for SAP Transportation Management.pdf.
