Function module CCMS_SYSTEM_PING not found

Hello

After installation of CEN on managing and managed systems I received every 5mn a DUMP with:

Error analysis
The program "SAPMSSY1" contains the CALL FUNCTION statement.
The name of the function module to be called is "CCMS_SYSTEM_PING".

No function module exists with the name "CCMS_SYSTEM_PING".
All function modules are listed in the Function Library (SE37).
    -

    Possible reasons:
    a) Wrong name specified. Pay particular attention to
       upper/lower case and underscores ("_").
       or
    b) Transport error
    c) In the case of an enqueue/dequeue module,
the lock object may not have been activated
       (ABAP/4 Dictionary).

How to implement this function ???

The only way to stop these dumps, is to stop Solution Manager !!!

I have completly deleted my CEN configuration (managing/managed) systems, but dumps continue

Anybody can help me !!!

Thanks

Are the dumps happening on a regular occurrence?  You may have a job related to the issue.

Have you verified in your remote systems that you removed the configuration?

Do you have ccms ping running on SolMan as a system service at the OS level?  If it is installed what happens if you stop it?  If it is not installed, what happens if you install it?

Hello Billy thanks for your reply.

Im' working with Solution Manager 7.1 SP7 on AIX Unix plateforme.

As I told effectively every 5mn i receive a dump on managing and managed systems.

With SM37 I see no job which are launched.

ccmsping is stoppped and deleted.

Is the function CCMS_SYSTEM_PING must be created ???

How, when I delete all the configuration some jobs can ran again ???

Have you a process to verify if the configuration is well deleted ???

Hello Billy

I have erased completly the configuration of CEN on my Solution Manager and deleted all the RFC created by CEN or for CEN.

And now, no dump. Nor in managing system nor in managed systems.

I’m going to reinstall all CEN but, maybe more carefully !!!!

Thanks for your help.

Have you looked into the new method of monitoring via Tech Mon?  It is simplistic and easy to resolve issues via templates vs individual CCMS hosts.
