VL320: No item category exists (Table T184L & & & &)

Hi Experts,

I am receiving this standard error while IB delivery creation, Please let me know what can be the reason.

I have checked relevent treads, there you find missing entrys eg: (verp el ..). Here in my case i don't see any specific entry's missing but i ma getting & & & &.

Please help me in knowing the reason.

Hi,

Check in VOV4 transaction code for combination of

SALES DOCUMENT TYPE

ITEM CATEGORY GROUP

ITEM USAGE

HIGHER LEVEL ITEM CATEGORY

In your case all these are empty, so try to maintain the transaction as per your requirement

You can check for example OR and TAN combination for better understanding

what i what to check with you is here normally when we get this error message vl320 we get values what is missing in table t184l, but in my case I am getting &&&&&. what can be the reason?
