What is the SAP login user profile/role required for SUP2.1.3

Hi,

We developed an android application which connect back to the SAP backend by using the sap user id with SAP_ALL role/profile. Some client may not able provide the SAP_ALL profile on production server for security purposes.

May I know what is the proper SAP login user profile/role required for SUP2.1.3?

If SAP_ALL profile is a must, is that any officially supporting document which we can negotiate with the client?

Hi Choong,

This is really very common question regarding roles at production environment.

i believe there is no such list which says these specific roles (namewise)

must be given for a user.As per as SAP backend is concerned, for a given user he must be able to view bapi info while creating mbo.

User must be authorize to execute bapi.

Thanks for reply. I tried one case that the role assign to the user login can run and execute the function module in SAP backend, but its failed to ping on the SUP2.1.3 SAP connection profile.

I guess many developers was face this problem before and wonder to know how to solve this.

Hi Choong,

It means he is not able to make connection from mobile sdk to sap server

Plz reconfirm the settings and try
