SUM error phase MAIN_NEWBAS/XPRAS_AIMMRG - Solman 7.1

Hi,

The error in phase phase MAIN_NEWBAS/XPRAS_AIMMRG in Solman 7.1 from

SPS 7 to SPS 8.

This occurred also in the development environment and the message

628790 / 2013 requested to apply note 1827161. We apply this note before start

the upgrade, but the same error occurred in the production environment.

Error in the ABAP Application Program

The current ABAP program "SMSY_BP_UTIL==================CP" had to

come across a statement that unfortunately cannot be executed.

The following syntax error occurred in program

"CL_AI_SC_REFRESH==============CCIMP " in

line 670:

"O parâmetro formal "IV_ULA_GUID" não existe."

I faced exactly same issue while updating Solution Manager to SP14.

In my case the issue was with two Notes, which were successfully implemented during the upgrade, but they somehow remove two types from class CL_AI_SC_DATA_PROVIDER. Types were S_SERVER_ENH and T_SERVER_ENH.

I de-implemented SAP Note 2192646 and 2188490 and re-implemented. It reactivated these missing entries and XPARAS went ahead.

It looks like SAP Note 2192646 is not relevant for Solution Manager. Could you check again which notes you was de-implemented and re-implemented. Because I faced exactly with the same issue during upgrade on SP14.

Sorry about the typo the correct notes I had to deimlement are:

2188490

2192846

Both Notes in right sequence have to be deinstalled.

Tariq is right! Got the same bug updating to Solman 7.1 SP14.

unlock shadow system, set modifiable via SE06.

Snote, deimplement in this order

2192846

2188490

Then implement again in this order

2188490

2192846

Change again in SE06, relock, continue.

Hi We are facing the same error and we are unable to implement snote

Please check the Implementation Status of the SAP Note 1827161 in SNOTE and implement the current version of this note as suggested in Snote 1885723 as the system upgrade phase and is locked for changes. Is there a alternative process for this

Guessing you figured it out by now, but you need to unlock the shadow:

To unlock the shadow instance:

cd ...\SUM\abap\exe

tp unlocksys SM1 pf=..\var\SHADOW.TPP

tp unlock_eu SM1 pf=..\var\SHADOW.TPP

To lock:

tp locksys SM1 pf=..\var\SHADOW.TPP

tp lock_eu SM1 pf=..\var\SHADOW.TPP

Thank you Gaurav,

    I had this issue and had run many note searches but was using the wrong terms.   Since SAP put screen shots in the note, searches on terms like SMSY_PPMS_AFTER_IMPORT and IV_ULA_GUID did not find the note.   I unlocked the shadow system (another nice piece of info SAP neglected to put in the note), downloaded and re-implemented note 1827161, locked the shadow and repeated the phase.
