Cannot build CVL document

Hi All,

Please note that we are occasionally facing problem in sending Invoice soft copies via email, we are using RightFax.

At few instances it fails generating Invoice soft copy and while checking in the SCOT, we found below error.

Message No - 818

Status Text   - Cannot process message in node (for reason see long text)

Further info   - Cannot build CVL document

Our administrator has checked SAP connector & RightFax server disc space, both of which are fine.

The problem happens only once or twice a day, please suggest as what might be the reason.

Hello,

The error "Cannot build CVL document" is reported back by your fax server and is usually due to a conversion error. You need to check on the RightFax faxserver to see if there is more information.

Hi David,

The Vendor has suggested to do below steps. Is this also what you mean to suggest? Do you have some suggestion to check without going into debug mode?

You can isolate the problem through the following step. You can run the RightFax debug mode in RightFax to check the real time activity when the fax/email were submitted to RightFax

1. Launch Enterprise Fax Manager

2. Right click the RightFax SAP E-Mail Gateway. Click Stop service from the popup menu

3. Right click the RightFax SAP E-Mail Gateway. Click Debug from the popup menu

4. Keep the RightFax SAP E-Mail Gateway in debug mode

Send the fax / email to RightFax. Check the debug console once you encountered the same error in SAP

Hi Milan,

From SAP side you could create a loopback node as per SAP Note 320503 and recreate the steps to produce this error of you could then check sxdump file created.
